Birdsong

On this tour, we propose a different sensory awakening: ignore the noises outside and focus your attention on the songs of the birds that inhabit the Garden. The visit aims to introduce participants to some of the bird species found in the Foundation’s Garden (others having already migrated to other destinations), allowing them to discover ways of identifying different species and the criteria to use when identifying birds in the field, particularly through their calls. The Foundation’s Garden is an oasis in Lisbon. It offers numerous attractions, ranging from the scenic value of the landscape as a whole to its diverse habitats and secluded corners, as well as the seasonal dynamics of its birdlife. Participants should wear clothing and accessories appropriate for the weather conditions.The activity will take place outdoors, regardless of weather conditions. It will only be cancelled in extreme circumstances.
