GNR – In Vivo

GNR celebrate more than three decades of In Vivo , one of the most significant albums of their career. GNR — Tóli César Machado, Rui Reininho and Jorge Romão — bring 2026 to a close with a series of special concerts celebrating the legacy of In Vivo , the iconic double album released in 1990, the band’s first live album and one of the biggest-selling albums in Portuguese music history. At these concerts, GNR promise to revive the infectious energy and unique atmosphere that have distinguished them throughout their 46-year career. Originally released by EMI – Valentim de Carvalho, In Vivo captured GNR’s electrifying energy during two historic nights, 30 April and 1 May 1990, at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon. Drawing on the acclaimed album Valsa dos Detectives , the setlist at the time brought together the band’s greatest hits and memorable renditions of international classics such as Runaway , by Del Shannon, and an excerpt from Apache , by The Shadows, incorporated into the song Hardcore . Awarded platinum certification, the album also had a second edition, which included the timeless Homens Temporariamente Sós . More than a journey back in time, these concerts celebrate the enduring bond between GNR and generations of fans, with a setlist designed to honour the vibrant repertoire of an album that defined an era and continues to attract new listeners.
