Quatuor Van Kuijk

The award-winning Quatuor Van Kuijk returns to Gulbenkian Music with a varied and demanding programme. Chosen by the BBC as a New Generation Artist for 2015–17 and invited to the prestigious ECHO Rising Stars series in the 2017/18 season, the Van Kuijk Quartet has established itself as one of the most exciting quartets of today. The ensemble has performed in the world’s leading concert halls and recorded albums that have received unanimous acclaim. According to The Guardian, the French quartet’s ‘style, energy and sense of risk’ account for the magnetic appeal of its concerts. Photo © Svend Andersen Sponsor Gulbenkian Music
