Brunch Club helps you discover things to do in Lisbon and make plans with friends you choose. We collect as little as we can to do that, and we never sell your data.
Near me is off until you tap it, and we ask for permission at that moment, never when you first open the app. In the iPhone app we only ask for location while you're using it (never in the background), and on the web your browser asks you.
Your device rounds the location to about 100 metres before it is used. It is kept in a cookie on your device for up to 2 hours, sent with your requests so we can sort what's on by distance and show how far away things are, and then refreshed or dropped. We don't save it to your account or database, keep a history of where you've been, or share it with your circles, friends or anyone else. It may lightly influence which plan ideas we suggest to you, but friends never see it.
You can turn it off at any time in Settings, which deletes it from your device straight away. You can also withdraw the permission in your phone or browser settings.
Saved ideas and conditions are private by default. Friends see your interest only if you choose to share it with a circle. Your conditions are never shown to others — they only affect whether a plan can confirm. We never read your contacts, messages or social accounts, and we never track your location or show it to anyone.
Listings come from public sources such as event platforms and venues, and are shown with attribution and the time we last checked them. Always confirm tickets and bookings with the provider.
You can change email preferences, switch off Near me, leave circles, block people and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting your account removes your data from our active systems within 30 days; backups expire within 90 days. Shared plan history keeps a neutral label so other participants' records stay consistent.
